Can HomoSexuals be Banned from taking part in Lord's Table (Eucharist)
Before answering this question of banning some one from participating in the Lord's table, we have to look into what is meaning of this celebration.
Lord's Table
The following passage from 1st Corinthians gives us the insight into the meaning of the celebration of Breaking of Bread or the Lord's Table.
For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread;
and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me."
In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."
For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.
Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep.
For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. (1 Cor 11:23-31)
We see that when we take part in Lord's table, we remember His suffering and the sacrifice for our sins! And we are asked to remember this until He comes back in His full glory.
Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. (Acts 2:41-47)
Especially in the organisation of Roman Catholic church, the breaking of bread or the Lord's Table is called Eucharist and is one of the sacraments of this organisation. This is resulting from many human doctrines that prevails in that organisation. I call it an organisation because Christ's Church is "the body of Christ". Our body is the temple of God. And the Church is the collection of "all believers in Christ". No human has any right to add or expel anyone form this "body of Christ". It is in the sole authority of the Lord.
Banning someone from Eucharist
Now coming to the act of banning someone from taking part in the Lord's Table, we see that this practice is not Biblical. The best a "pastor" or the shepherd of a flock can do is to inform his subject about the consequence of partaking the table without proper reverence as we read before. This has to be done in love and not as a judgement - since the Bible talks of everyone as sinner and equally distant from God. Only by the sacrifice of Jesus, we are reconciled to God. Hence no one can take the credit to be righteous enough to take part in the table by his/her own! What one should do is that to pray to be washed cleaned to partake in this celebration in a worthy manner so that he/she won't eats and drinks judgement to oneself.
Those who claim to posses the right must reconsider themselves if they have the right attitude to stand before God.
